Prescott Valley honors departing councilmembers Dickinson and Hunt

At the close of the Dec. 5 study session, Prescott Valley formally recognized Councilmembers Brenda Dickinson and Lori Hunt for their service.
Each councilmember reflected on accomplishments and thanked staff and residents. Dickinson listed several achievements including continued investment in water management and conservation, park improvements, and the town’s purchase of about 1,800 acres at Glassford Hill. Hunt spoke about her 38 years in government service, emphasized the value of working with staff and volunteers, and urged the council to focus on managed growth, infrastructure and public safety.
Mayor Pagoda and fellow councilmembers offered thanks and presented plaques and flowers to the departing members. The meeting then adjourned.
