The City Planning Commission on Sept. 12 opened item one and heard from planning director Vince Bertone, who said, "No director's report for today, but I'm happy to answer any questions or comments from the city planning commission." The deputy city attorney replied that they had nothing to report.
Commissioners were asked to review advance calendars and note planned absences. The chair then noted that minutes from Oct. 12, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, 2023 had been emailed to commissioners for review and asked whether there were any changes; staff reported there was no public comment on the minutes.
Commissioner Martina Diaz moved to adopt the minutes; a second was given (recorded in the transcript as Commissioner Cabello). Staff called the roll. The roll-call reading in the record shows affirmative responses for the entries read as: "Commissioner Diaz," "Commissioner Cabrillo," "Commissioner Cho," "Commissioner Klein," "Commissioner Newhouse," an entry read as "Commissioner's statement," and "commission vice president Zamora." The chair announced the motion carries and item number 1 was closed.
The meeting then proceeded to the next agenda item.
