City Planning Commission welcomes two newly appointed commissioners

The City Planning Commission on Sept. 12 welcomed two newly appointed members who offered short self-introductions ahead of the day's business.
Commissioner Phyllis Klein, one of the appointees, said she has worked “40 years plus in finance, particularly in housing related activities,” and that she looks forward to spending time on the commission.
Jacob Siteman, who identified himself as "Jake Siteman," said he was born and raised in the valley and that he has spent his career in the renewables sector. "I'm very excited to be fulfilling my civic duty here," Siteman said.
The introductions took place at the opening of the commission's regular meeting in the John Ferraro Council Chamber. Vice President Elizabeth Zamora presided and noted the session was being held in a hybrid format to allow remote public participation. After the introductions, the commission proceeded to consider item one on the agenda.
