During the session the House handled several procedural items. Speaker announced the first reading and referral of Senate Bill 309, described in the reading as "an act relating to miscellaneous changes to laws related to the Department of Motor Vehicles, Motor Vehicles and Vessels." Following the reading, the bill was referred to the Committee on Transportation.
The House also considered Joint Resolution JRS 46, regarding the weekend adjournment on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024; after the reading the Speaker asked for ayes and nays and announced the resolution had been adopted in concurrence.
At the close of the session the Member from Poltenay moved to adjourn the House until Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024 at 3 p.m. Members responded 'aye' and the Speaker recessed the House until the stated time.
