The Weatherford City Commission approved several non‑controversial contracts and agreements on the consent and general agenda.

Economic‑development staff recommended renewing a one‑year contract with Retail Attractions for business‑attraction consulting at $4,000 per month; staff said the firm provided property marketing and outreach. The commission approved the renewal.

The commission also approved a proposal from Cedar Creek Consultants to provide civil engineering for the Weatherford Community Center and Early Child Development Center; staff explained private funding will cover Cedar Creek services until public financing is in place.

City attorneys and staff presented a final draft of a lease and option with Singular Wireless for a communications tower at Raider Park West (10026 Lark Road). Staff said the company reduced tower height to address FAA concerns, increased insurance coverage, and agreed to restore the site when necessary; the council approved the agreement.

The council approved memoranda of understanding with Weatherford Public Schools for two school resource officers. The first SRO MOU carries a 60/40 split (school 60%, city 40%); the second SRO for which the school covers 100% of salary and benefits was also approved, with staff noting the school board had previously voted to accept those terms.
