Cameron Duff presented the audit dated June 30, 2024 from auditors identified in meeting materials as Porter M[ee]rhead, Kornea and Howard (PMCH). Duff told the board the document is unmodified — a positive finding — and that the auditors identified five findings. He said the county has reviewed those points, implemented corrective actions and that PMCH will hold an open meeting in mid-February to answer any questions about the audit.
A commissioner moved to accept the audit report and the board approved the motion by voice vote. The acceptance formalizes receipt of the auditors' report and signals the county has committed to the corrective steps discussed.
