The Strafford County legislative delegation executive committee on Nov. 22 approved several short-term budget moves intended to keep county operations funded while leaders finalize the 2025 budget.
Delegates voted unanimously to add two recently confirmed revenue awards to the county’s working numbers: $715,000 for distribution under a COPS grant to cities and towns and $1.4 million toward a roof project, county finance staff said. The motion to add those funds was moved by Representative Bixby and seconded by Representative Howard and carried on a roll call vote with all members present voting yes.
