Courtney Jamieson (Gibbons PC), representing Autism New Jersey, and Sharon Levine (The Arc of New Jersey) were listed in support and did not testify in person. Committee members did not propose amendments during the testimony portion, and a motion to release both bills was approved by roll call.
One committee member commented on the scale of developmental disability in the state and expressed hope additional measures would address root causes in future deliberations. The bills were released to the next legislative stage.
