The Boonville City Council voted Dec. 2 to adopt an ordinance appropriating $356,226.55 to pay salaries and other accounts the council had allowed at its meeting that day.
The ordinance, read for a second time at the meeting, itemized allocations including $229,264.44 to the general fund; $38,723.01 to waterworks; $22,351.65 to wastewater; and smaller amounts for sanitation, parks, tourism and gaming funds. The ordinance took effect upon passage, according to language read into the record.
Councilmembers approved the measure by roll call after a motion and second; all recorded votes were affirmative. The appropriation follows the routine claims and accounting process the council reviewed in its packet materials.
The measure was one of several items handled on the consent and regular agendas; council members also approved two change items on the consent agenda (a $1,547.55 pay application change for HydroVac Missouri and a $4,935.70 change order to Love Con for City Hall repairs).
