The amendments also add definitions for “consumer” and “consumer contract.”
Chairman Samson called for comments and none were offered. The committee voted to amend and release the bill; the roll call recorded 'yes' votes from Assemblywoman Fantasia, Assemblywoman Hall, Assemblywoman McCoy, Vice Chair Quijano (recorded in the transcript as 'Kehano'), and Chairman Samson. Assemblyman Keane was recorded as absent.
The bill was released as amended and will proceed through the legislative process for further consideration.
