Watts asked whether arrests had occurred on his street, whether officers were stopping offending vehicles, and why the city posts speed-limit signage if enforcement allows a small buffer.
Another resident (Speaker 9) said a neighborhood petition had collected 92 signatures and that temporary police parking and posted signs had helped slow traffic near their homes. That resident said they appreciated the police presence and asked for the patrols to continue.
Council acknowledged the concerns and staff noted increased police presence had been observed; no specific enforcement policy changes were announced during the meeting.
