Staff recommended soliciting bids for a diesel generator with an optional natural-gas dual-fuel component, and to include an aerial image of the proposed site in the bid packet. The board voted to let the bid package.

"This bid is to replace the current generator at the Rogers County Jail," the staff presenter said, explaining that during the tornado the generator went down and an external generator had to be brought in. Staff outlined that the bid would require a pre-bid meeting and site visit for contractors to assess the scope of work. Commissioners approved moving forward with the solicitation and asked staff to provide the aerial image for bidders.
