PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. — The Putnam County Audit & Administration Committee met Nov. 25 and advanced a series of routine and notable budget items to the full Legislature.
The county reported a healthy October 2024 sales tax month — $6,701,109, up $180,909 from October 2023 and $71,529,338 year-to-date, the committee chair said. The committee approved forwarding a $125,000 NYSERDA state aid award to fund solar panels at the county transit facility.
