Among the motions carried by voice vote were: payment and agreement with Columbia-Greene Community College Foundation; agreements with the Greene County Agricultural Society; contract authorization with Community Action of Greene County, Inc.; an agreement with the Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Columbia and Greene Counties; agreements with CREATE Council on the Arts and Greene County Cultural Fund contracts; an agreement with the Greene County Federation of Sportsmen; historical-society and libraries-association agreements; contracts and watershed-assistance measures with the Soil and Water Conservation District; reappointments to the Soil Conservation District board (Dennis Lucas, James Story, David Cunningham); appointment of Edward Blumer to the Columbia-Greene Community College Board of Trustees; reappointment of the public defender; appointment to the DWI board; and acceptance of an Emergency Management Performance grant (50/50 match).
Most items were introduced with little discussion and carried on voice votes. Committee members who spoke during roll-call votes included Davis, Bloomer, True, Lucas and others; where the transcript recorded specific seconders or movers those names were noted in committee proceedings.
