Brentwood P&Z approves officer slate and forwards recommendations to Board of Aldermen

The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed nominations for officer positions (chair, vice chair, secretary) that had been made at the previous meeting, accepted no additional nominations and approved the slate by voice vote.
The chair observed it was unusual to call a vote for one’s own office and sought guidance on procedure; commissioners agreed to a voice vote. Sherry Bilderback moved to approve the slate "as read earlier," a second was recorded, and the motion passed with an affirmative voice vote.
The chair noted the recommendations will be transmitted to the Board of Aldermen for confirmation at its July 15 meeting.
