Brentwood aldermen unanimously adopt emergency-operations ordinance and approve site and sign-plan ordinances

Brentwood, Mo. — At their June 17 meeting the Board of Aldermen adopted three ordinances by unanimous votes.
Bill 6505 was perfected and adopted in ordinance form as ordinance 5134. The ordinance amends the Brentwood City Code to provide for emergency operations and adopts an emergency operations plan. The chair called for perfection and a roll-call vote resulted in an 8–0 approval.
Bill 6507, an ordinance amending prior ordinances relating to a conditional use permit and site development plan for a McDonald's at 1595 South Hanley Road, was perfected and adopted by roll call 8–0 and will be listed as ordinance 5135.
Bill 6510, which the board had considered in a public hearing earlier in the meeting, grants comprehensive sign plan approval for property at 1234 Hanley Industrial Court. The board voted to perfect bill 6510 into ordinance form and adopt it; the clerk announced it will become ordinance 5136 following an 8–0 roll call.
Each ordinance was approved on the record by roll-call votes; the clerk announced the ordinance numbers upon passage. No amendments were recorded during the votes.
What happens next: The ordinances take effect according to Brentwood municipal procedures; staff will implement the emergency-operations plan and the sign/site approvals under existing administrative processes.
