Committee forwards two code amendments and approves $57,850 riprap change order for trail site 65

The committee approved a change order not to exceed $57,850 to proceed with the riprap work; staff said the change would be processed as a normal change order at the Board of Aldermen.
Details and next steps
For both code amendments the committee approved forwarding the items to the Board of Aldermen for final action at an August meeting. For the Site 65 repair the committee approved a contract change order; staff indicated contingency funds would cover the cost and that additional, longer-term repairs remain under design and are expected for fall construction.
No citizen comments were offered during the meeting and the committee adjourned.
