Brentwood board unanimously adopts fence-code changes and site plan for Hanley Industrial Court

Old business: Bill 6533 received a second reading by title and the board moved to perfect it into ordinance form. As read at the meeting, the bill "amend[ed] the regulations regarding sections 400.2400 and 400.2410 of the Brentwood City Code relating to fences, walls, and screening devices." Council voted by roll call in favor; the ordinance number was to be entered in the minutes and was not announced on the record at the meeting.
New business: Bill 6534, a site development plan approval for exterior modifications at 350, 360 and 370 Hanley Industrial Court for Carboline, was introduced. The Planning and Zoning Commission had recommended unanimous approval and granted a related variance. The petitioner requested a second reading that night; Alderman Wege moved to allow the second reading and the board agreed. On second reading, a city representative explained that "the building addition is over existing site coverage" and "there's no new site coverage that's being created" by the project. The board then moved to perfect Bill 6534 into ordinance form and adopted it by roll call, 8'0to'00.
