ARB approves rear remodel at 82 Whitehall Court, homeowner to match existing materials

The City of Brentwood Architectural Review Board approved a rear remodel at 82 Whitehall Court that will remove an existing four-season room and replace it with a master en suite and covered deck.
Homeowner Eric Fridley described the work: "We're looking to demolish a 4 season Florida room off the back of the house, basically turn it into a master en suite with a new deck attached to it and the roof would extend and cover both structures." Board members reviewed three-dimensional views and materials and recommended matching the existing nine-inch cedar lap siding (replaced with SmartSide smooth siding in the plans).
A member moved to approve the proposal as submitted and the board recorded affirmative votes in roll call. The ARB noted the new foundation will include windows where needed and that any under-deck treatment (gravel) was acceptable.
