After closed session, Anchor Bay board votes to expel two students with conditions

During the public comment period before the closed session, Tia Lauren — who identified herself as the stepmother of a student named Blaze Lauren — urged the board to reconsider an earlier decision not to expel a student who, she said, threatened to shoot her child's school. "By allowing a student to return after such a threat, you're failing to prioritize the safety and the well‑being of all the other students and families of Anchor Bay," Lauren said, and asked the board to "do better next time."
