School board adopts multiple policy revisions and new policies

The Lafourche Parish School Board approved several policy changes recommended at the Nov. 20 Policy & Academics Committee meeting.
Among the approved items were revisions to policy JGCB (immunizations), JBA (compulsory school attendance ages), BCB (notification of school board meetings), GAK (personnel records), JGC (student health services), and CED (employment of the superintendent). The board also approved a new policy referenced in the transcript as BCBJ (broadcasting and taping school board meetings) and revisions to special-education policy IDDF (education of students with exceptionalities). The board awarded a vendor (N2Y LLC) for alternative curriculum materials for the SPED department.
