The School District 5 Board of Trustees took the following formal actions during its Dec. 9 meeting:
- Approved the meeting agenda at 6:00 p.m. (vote recorded as 6-0). - Entered executive session to consider selected employment items and contractual matters (motion passed). - Approved selected employment items as identified in Exhibit A (motion carries 6-0). - Approved professional development services as identified in Exhibit C (motion carries 6-0). - Approved first reading of proposed revisions to board policy IKG (Secondary Education) (vote 6-0). - Approved the proposed 2025-2026 school calendar (vote 6-0). - Approved renewal of the District 5 Foundation of Educational Excellence memorandum of understanding (motion carries). - Approved the CTE Advanced Animation course at Spring Hill High School (motion carries 6-0). - Approved the Nov. 18 minutes with Attachments 1 and 2 removed after debate (motion carries; chair abstained).
