Maintenance staff reported HVAC and general maintenance as the top work‑order categories, highlighted a local cost‑saving by performing gym floor refinishing in house, and said they recently filled an HVAC manager vacancy. Committee members raised concerns about communication back to principals on work‑order closures and requested a protocol so principals receive clear status updates. Staff agreed to report back with answers at the next meeting.
