A staff speaker described a revenue-commissioner‑maintained excess land fund tied to tax-sale property and asked the commission for a resolution to move funds from that account to the general fund. The speaker said the transfer involved about $1,000 and was routine; a motion to approve the resolution was seconded and carried.
The commission also voted to contract with Modern Landscape to perform courthouse landscaping for $2,750. Commissioners emphasized that work would be done at night and on weekends to avoid disrupting courthouse operations and asked whether the contractor carried general liability insurance; staff confirmed the insurance requirement had been met.
Earlier in the meeting a member moved and the commission seconded a motion to enter executive session to discuss an economic development project; the motion was recorded and proceeded as an agenda item.
The meeting included several other routine agenda items and community announcements before ad spots resumed and the commission adjourned.
