Lakeville council approves city administrator’s salary increase to $244,691.19 effective Jan. 1, 2025

Lee summarized that the review "focused on his leadership, presence in the community, and communications with the council, the public, and employees," and stated, "we find Mister Miller's performance continues to be at an exceptional level, consistently exceeding expectations and delivering outstanding results for the city."
Lee said the personnel committee recommended moving Miller from step 6 to step 7 of his pay grade, which "will increase his annual compensation to $244,691.19 effective January 1, 2025." Council moved to adopt the recommendation, the motion was seconded and the roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval from those voting.
Alyssa Frey, the HR director, was thanked for preparing materials for the review. The council did not provide additional public detail about the evaluation process beyond the personnel committee recommendation recorded in open session.
Next steps: the salary change is effective Jan. 1, 2025, and staff will implement payroll adjustments per the council action.
