The committee initially considered and approved an auxiliary generator costing $14,825.29 for 26 Hodges Hill Road; members noted the project had state approval and said the homeowner faces life‑threatening circumstances. Financial discussion in the committee reviewed listed liens and equity reported on the application.
The council also approved $22,896 for updates at 126 Lawrence Lane (windows, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, flooring and painting). Council members referenced a prior related request for the same property and said the current funding addresses additional needs supported by a recent appraisal.
Both approvals were moved, seconded and carried by voice vote during earlier committee action and confirmed later on the council agenda.
