Sarah Caper of TPO presented a CAC membership update showing the advisory committee currently counts about 24 members of a 36‑seat body (16 seats are appointees of voting board members). Caper said the CAC is underrepresented among women, younger residents, Asian and Hispanic people and showed a geographic clustering toward inner‑county areas.

Caper said the CAC and staff compared member self‑reported application data against U.S. Census county demographics and noted gaps, and suggested targeted outreach to chambers of commerce and community groups. The board moved to accept the update and directed staff to prioritize outreach to fill demographic and geographic needs.

Board discussion was brief and the acceptance motion passed on voice vote with no nays recorded.
