Following a closed session for the superintendent's periodic evaluation, the board reported three goals it adopted for the remainder of the evaluation cycle. The board listed the goals in open session: reach an 85% districtwide graduation rate by 2027 (a strategic-plan target), increase attendance by 2% compared with baseline years (2021–22 vs. 2024–25 data per the MICIP plan), and increase student participation in at least one extracurricular activity by 20% by 2027 (baseline: 2022–23).
Superintendent Scholdener thanked the board and the community for the priorities; he described graduation, attendance and extracurricular participation as aligned with the district's strategic plan and pledged to report progress in subsequent updates.
