Police Jury adopts FY2025 budget, approves contracts, servitudes and multiple procurement bids

Jurors also approved staff‑recommended procurement awards: uniform contracts to Acadian Promotional Products, Nolani Essential and Centas Corporations; branded fuel to Retief Oil and Fuel; unbranded fuel contracts to Goldberg Oil Company, Lord All All Company of Acadiana and Miguel's Fuel; sewer pumps and replacement parts (bid by BMW and equipment); and multiple suppliers for collection/distribution pipes and fittings. The jury authorized advertising for bids for the Ginger Lane drainage improvement project and approved payment of current invoices after review of budget‑to‑actual comparisons.
Most items were moved, seconded and carried with little discussion; jurors thanked staff and engineering teams for project work.
