County small/local business office reports 238 certified SLBE firms and upcoming 2025 events

LaSasha from the OSCO (office supporting Small Local Business Enterprise certification) walked through program statistics and outreach plans.
"Per your report...we have a total of 238 certified SLBE firms," LaSasha said, noting additions to the nonprofessional services category, 10 pending new applications and 7 pending renewals. She encouraged interested firms to contact the office at 803‑576‑1540 or by email at osb0@richlandcountysc.gov for assistance.
LaSasha also said the OSCO team is finalizing the 2025 calendar of educational workshops and events for business owners and invited questions from committee members.
Committee members thanked the presenter and indicated they would follow up via the office if they had inquiries about the certification list or event schedule.
