The Ann Arbor Disability Commission approved the meeting agenda and the Nov. 21 meeting minutes by voice vote during the meeting called by Chair Zach Damon.
Vice Chair Larry Keeler moved to approve the updated agenda and Commissioner Kathleen Mosack seconded; Chair Damon called for ayes and the motion carried. Keeler moved to approve the November meeting minutes and the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Staff member Kennedy reported operational announcements and holiday closures: city offices will be closed on Dec. 24—Dec. 25 (Christmas Eve/Day) and Dec. 31—Jan. 1 (New Year—s Eve/Day), and the commission and partners calendars for 2025 have been updated.
In communications, Rob (Packard) raised the possibility of launching commission social media (Facebook and/or Instagram). Commissioners discussed accessibility considerations and recommended starting with a single platform and drafting a proposal. Chair Damon said he would follow up with Commissioners Chambers, Packard and Vice Chair Keeler and the community engagement committee; the item will be placed on the next meeting agenda for a vote.
Commissioner Kathleen Mosack moved to adjourn at approximately 4:39 p.m.; the motion was seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
