Parks Advisory Commission approves policy agenda, minutes and votes to enter closed session

The Ann Arbor Parks Advisory Commission conducted routine procedural business at its Dec. 17, 2024 meeting, approving minutes, confirming a policy agenda to forward to city council and voting to enter a closed session on a land‑acquisition matter.

Commissioner Larry moved to approve the minutes from the prior meeting; Commissioner Vince seconded and the motion carried with no opposition. Later in the meeting, Parks Manager Josh reviewed a five‑goal policy agenda derived from the city’s five‑year parks plan. The chair entertained a motion to approve a resolution affirming those goals and forwarding them to city council; Commissioner Rachel moved, Commissioner Ruth seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.

The commission then considered a motion to go into closed session for a land‑acquisition matter.
