The Sustainable VC Committee, lacking a quorum on Dec. 23, reached informal agreement on a draft 2025 meeting schedule and reviewed how new members are appointed.

Moderator opened the meeting and noted there was not a quorum but that the group would proceed with updates "to get these updates... on the record." Members agreed to hold meetings in even-numbered months on the fourth Monday at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom, and agreed to circulate the calendar and goals for comment with a plan to revisit in February.

Members also discussed appointing meeting attendee Ryan to the committee. Patty said applicants should complete the online application form on the city website; those applications are routed to the city manager’s office, reviewed by an internal staff committee, and then placed on the City Commission agenda for approval, typically on the consent agenda. The moderator and members encouraged new applicants to complete the process.

Bob Gilbert reported his appointment renewal had proceeded smoothly and praised Patty for helping applicants through the process. There was no public comment. The meeting adjourned at 2:04 p.m.
