Planning commission appoints Commissioner Godfrey to housing steering committee; approves 2025 meeting calendar

At the Dec. 18, 2024 meeting the Planning Commission chair appointed Commissioner Godfrey to the Housing and Community Development steering committee, an advisory group that will work with the community development supervisor on the 2025–2029 consolidated plan and the housing component of the master-plan update. Staff said organizations that participated in the city's housing action plan and other housing stakeholders will be included on the steering committee.
The commission also reviewed and approved its 2025 meeting schedule (regularly the fourth Wednesday of each month, with adjustments in November and December to accommodate holidays). A motion to approve the 2025 planning commission meeting dates and petition deadlines was made, seconded and adopted by roll-call vote.
With no further public comment or business, the meeting was adjourned.
