Council approves multiple rezones and ordinances; consent agenda passed

At its Dec. 3 meeting the Meridian City Council approved the consent agenda and a series of ordinance readings and rezones by roll call vote.
Clerk readings and council motions resulted in the passage of multiple ordinances by recorded roll call (including Ordinance Nos. 24-2067, 24-2068, 24-2069 and 24-2070 as titled in the agenda). Council actions followed standard procedure: ordinances were read by title, councilmembers moved to approve and the clerk called the roll. The clerk recorded 'Aye' from listed councilmembers and the motions carried.
Separately, the council approved item 19 (design clarification on a previously considered item) and continued a public hearing for H2024-0016 to Dec. 17. The meeting also adjourned after brief community announcements.
