The consent agenda was approved by roll call.
Police equipment and software: Trustees approved purchase of 17 Axon TASER 10 units for $78,499.20, replacing older X2 units purchased in 2012; the replacement includes training and a five‑year warranty and reflects a buyback discount for the older devices. The board also approved an Axon Evidence Redaction Assistant user license contract for $75,100 for five years to automate redaction and transcription in the records bureau; funding for the software was identified as federal forfeiture funds.
Wayne County winter maintenance: The board approved an agreement with Wayne County for supplemental winter maintenance services for local roads for the 2024–25 season at a cost of $18,736.56, contingent on endorsement from the township Department of Public Services Commission. Officials said the service supplements county plowing resources by assigning equipment to the township during heavy snow events.
Each of these items passed by voice vote or roll call as required by the agenda.
