Selectmen approve two home-occupation permits; cable hearing continued to Nov. 26

The board opened public hearings for Medical Training Solutions LLC at 182 Farm Street and for Veil Light Treasures at 8 Laurel Road, read the required notices under chapter 5, section 21 of the town bylaws, and heard no public comment before voting.
Selectman Sweeney moved to approve the Medical Training Solutions LLC permit; Selectman Bozzo seconded and the board voted in favor. The board took the same steps for Veil Light Treasures, with Selectman Sweeney moving approval and Selectman Polak seconding; the motion passed with ayes recorded. The chair thanked participants and closed both hearings.
On the cable franchise matter, the chair said the public hearing that had been opened previously will remain open and set the next hearing date for Nov. 26 at 6:50 p.m. The continuation drew no public comment.
