The Town of Blackstone Water-Sewer Commission completed a delayed board reorganization at its Oct. 10 meeting, electing its officers by unanimous votes.
Bruce Patterson was nominated to remain chairman and was approved unanimously. Commissioners then nominated and approved Rob Patterson as vice chair. Tom Devlin was elected treasurer and Jake Saint Lamont elected secretary (listed as co-secretary in the minutes). Each post was filled through floor nominations followed by recorded affirmative votes.
The reorganization restored a full slate of officers on the commission and was presented as a housekeeping measure after a July reorganization had been postponed. The commission did not record any objections during the votes. The meeting then moved on to routine business and public comment.
The commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Nov. 14, 2024.
