Clermont County proclaims Sept. 8–14 Suicide Prevention Week; coalition to place hotline signage in parks

The presenter said Clermont County is "the 1st county in the state to put forth this initiative" for signage in both state and local parks and highlighted a Sept. 10 outreach effort and the coalition's 23rd annual candlelight vigil.
The board and coalition emphasized the goal of reducing stigma and increasing community awareness of prevention resources. No formal board action beyond acceptance of the proclamation was required; commissioners expressed appreciation and took photos with recipients.
