At the Oct. 10 meeting of the Town of Blackstone Board of Assessors members approved routine administrative actions and voted unanimously to go into executive session.
The board approved department vouchers after a motion and second; members said "Aye" on the voice vote. The board also approved and signed a motor vehicle abatements list posted since the Aug. 15 meeting and accepted the minutes of the Aug. 15, 2024 meeting. The chair noted that there were no real estate or personal-property tax commitments to sign and no abatements posted since April 15 to consider.
Near the end of the public session the board moved and carried a motion to enter executive session; a roll-call vote recorded affirmative responses and the chair announced the board would not reconvene after the executive session.
Motions and votes recorded in the meeting were procedural and pertain to internal documentation, vouchers and abatements; no ordinances, bylaws, or policy adoptions were made public during the session.
