Blackstone selectmen approve one-day liquor license for Daniel's Farm

The Town of Blackstone Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a one-day liquor license for Daniel's Farm on Sept. 22, the board said at its brief Sept. 17 meeting.

The license, recorded as ODL24-5, covers an event scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Daniel's Farm is the named holder of the license. The town administrator confirmed paperwork and requirements were in order before the board voted: "Everything is in order," the town administrator said.

The motion to approve was put on the floor and recorded as having been made by Selectman Sweeney and seconded by Selectman Polak. After a brief clarification of the event date and hours — described in the meeting as "this weekend" — the presiding officer called for a vote. "All those in favor, signify by saying aye," the presiding officer said; the ayes were recorded and the presiding officer declared, "It's unanimous." The board then moved to adjourn.
