Commissioner Speaker 2 moved for a cease-and-desist; the motion was later retracted and replaced with a motion to investigate whether an existing Order of Conditions covers the parcel. That investigative motion was seconded and supported; the Commission then voted to table the matter to the next meeting while staff verifies whether prior approvals or an Order of Conditions apply. A separate motion to issue an immediate cease-and-desist did not receive a second and therefore failed.
The Commission emphasized it will act immediately if further on-site activity is observed that appears to violate conservation restrictions. Staff were asked to determine whether prior Orders of Conditions exist for the parcel and to report back at the next scheduled meeting.
