The facilitator asked whether members had read the minutes from the August meeting and called for a motion. Maggie, the senior center director, moved to accept the minutes; an unidentified member seconded the motion and the board approved by voice vote.
In old business, the facilitator said the BILOS committee remains unfinished and the senior prom planning continues; the facilitator and members noted a grant related to the prom must be used by Dec. 31 or it will revert.
Under new business, the facilitator said the search for an activity director is ongoing and "moving closer" but provided no candidate names or hiring timetable.
There were no items under good and welfare. Maggie moved to adjourn and an unidentified member seconded; the meeting adjourned after a voice vote. The facilitator confirmed the next meeting will be Thursday, Oct. 3 at 10:00 a.m.
Formal action recorded in the minutes available in the meeting packet consisted of two routine procedural motions (acceptance of minutes and adjournment); no budget, ordinance, appointment or contractual votes were recorded.
