Town of Babylon — The Zoning Board of Appeals on the evening reviewed a calendar of variance applications and took action on a series of residential and small commercial requests. The board approved several applications with conditions and kept the record open or reserved decision on others pending revised plans or plan-examiner review.

The board approved application 24-215 (David and Bozena Ordinia) for variances related to a second‑floor rear deck, side‑yard relief and building coverage subject to conditions: the second‑story deck may not be enclosed above or below, the driveway may not be further expanded, and the applicant agreed to relocate an existing shed to a conforming location. A board member moved to delete variance number 4 and later moved to approve the application as amended; the motions carried unanimously.
