The Town of Babylon board voted unanimously Wednesday to adopt a consensus resolution agenda and to approve Resolutions 843, 844, 845, 846 and 847.
Clerks called the roll for multiple resolutions and recorded five votes in favor and zero opposed for each item. The board also held and then closed a series of public hearings—on a traffic ordinance amendment and on the preliminary budget for 2025—reserving decisions for later consideration.
During roll call and resolution votes, the clerk recorded votes from Councilmen Maneta, Martinez, McSweeney, Gregory and Supervisor Schaffer. The board adopted the consensus resolution agenda after hearing no requests to remove items.
No substantive debate on the text of the listed resolutions was recorded on the public record; the approvals were taken as listed on the agenda. The board indicated it will proceed with follow-up steps for hearings where decisions were reserved.
