Applicant seeks to convert former Blaze Pizza to Crazy Ramen; board reserves decision

Joseph Turner, the applicant for job 2447 FD, told the Town of Babylon Planning Board on Nov. 18 that he seeks to convert the former Blaze Pizza tenant space into Crazy Ramen. Turner, sworn for the record, said seating will remain unchanged, the facade will remain as is, and the only interior change was a revised floor plan to add a cook line.
The board noted a memorandum from Planning Commissioner Denise Graziano dated Nov. 13 that lists covenants and restrictions tied to the property. Turner told the board he had read the memorandum and had no objections to its conditions. The chair confirmed the applicant agreed to the listed covenants.
No members of the public addressed the board on the application. After brief questions and confirmation that the applicant had acknowledged the planning memorandum, the board moved to close the public hearing and "reserve decision" to allow staff time to review public and technical comments. Frank Santos moved to close the hearing; Juan Leon seconded, and the board voted in favor.
The board left the record open for written comments and directed interested parties to the Planning Department (planning comments at townofbabylon.com) for follow‑up and inspection of application documents.
The Planning Board will consider the application and any written comments before issuing a decision.
