Resignation and vacancy The council accepted Councilor Walker's resignation and declared the seat vacant; applications closed and the mayor will review approximately 22 applications with interviews scheduled for the Dec. 17 meeting and the appointed person to be sworn in at the first January meeting.
Fee resolution Council approved Fiscal Year 2025 Fee Resolution Amendment No. 2 on a standard resolution vote. Clerk roll-call votes recorded ayes and the council directed the clerk to assign the appropriate number.
Budget ordinance Council placed Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 1 on its first and only reading by title under suspension of the rules, approved the ordinance, directed the clerk to assign a number and publish by summary only; roll-call votes were taken and the motion passed.
Other formal actions The consent calendar (minutes; accounts payable and hand checks; participation in the county emergency operations plan; and several final plats) was approved by roll call. A motion to approve the construction contingency for the solids hopper and biofilter improvement was moved and approved by roll call.
