A committee member asked why staff proposed a five‑year term; Adam said user groups requested longer agreements and that the American Legion has been cooperative and reliable in payments and field maintenance. The committee’s recommendation to forward the agreement to council was moved and seconded and approved by voice vote; the item was placed on the consent calendar.
