Structural Pest Control Board elects officers and approves minutes; Carrillo petition withdrawn

At its Oct. 16 meeting the Structural Pest Control Board elected Selena Anderson president and Kyle Finley vice president, approved Aug. 26 meeting minutes by roll call, and recorded the petition of Jose G. Carrillo as withdrawn without prejudice for nonappearance.
The Structural Pest Control Board held officer elections and conducted routine governance business during its Oct. 16 meeting.
The board moved agenda item 14 forward and conducted nominations. Vice President Kyle Finley nominated himself for vice president and accepted the nomination; the board took a roll-call vote and the motion carried. Selena Anderson was nominated and confirmed by roll-call vote as board president.
Later in the meeting the board moved to approve the minutes of its Aug. 26, 2024 meeting; a motion and second were recorded and the roll-call vote passed unanimously.
The board also considered whether to hear a reinstatement petition for Jose G. Carrillo. Because the petitioner did not appear, the board elected to record the matter as withdrawn without prejudice; Carrillo may refile at the next available meeting.
No further governance votes affecting policy or fees were taken in open session during the meeting.
