Arvada council approves amendments for North Trunk sewer project amid garbled transcript figures

The Arvada City Council on Dec. 2 approved three consent-agenda resolutions to amend construction and design contracts tied to the North Trunk sanitary sewer improvements.

City staff read three resolutions into the record that, according to the agenda, authorize: (1) an amendment to a construction management general contractor agreement with BT Construction Inc. for preconstruction services; (2) an amendment to a construction management general contractor agreement with Garney Companies Inc. for additional work on the North Trunk; and (3) an amendment to an agreement with Carollo Engineers (listed in the packet) for final design and construction-phase services.

Councilmember Davis moved to approve the three consent items; the council voted unanimously, 5–0, with the mayor pro tem excused.
